The taking of video & photo is not permitted. The Festival has an in-house videographer and photographer. No other video or photo is allowed without prior approval. Press badge requests can be made here.

RESERVED VIP SEATING: As part of our festival fundraising campaign, we offer two front rows of VIP beach blankets for 2 that can be reserved online; $100 (Front Row) $75 (Second Row).GENERAL SEATING: Reservations for free pay-what-you-wish tickets can be made online, but seating & parking is first come, first serve. At this time we do not have physical tickets, but provide an email confirmation.Once you submit the online form, please know your reservation for tickets has been received - you're all set! Reservations allow us to provide a head count to the park and a way to keep audience members up to date on any weather related changes. Please note parking is first come first serve and there is a $5/vehicle state park parking fee.
Assateague State Park is ADA accessible. The performance takes place along the inland side of the dunes behind the ASP bathhouse. There is an accessibility ramp from the parking lot to the deck area behind the 5 Tides Restaurant for deck seating. You'll also find more accessible access along the day-use boardwalk. Beach wheelchairs are available by calling the Ranger Station: (410) 641-2918.
Yes, Ballet on the Beach is perfect for families. In the hour before the performance, we offer a host of dance, nature, and craft activities for children. As this performance is being professionally filmed, we ask that audience members and children remain seated during the performance. All children should remain with their parental guardian for the full duration of the event. Thank you!
Do you accept Guest Dance Artist or Choreographer Submissions?Interested dance companies, artists, and choreographers may submit materials for consideration. Our festival is made possible by the generosity of community members. If you're interested in volunteering, please apply to share your interests and skills. We are currently seeking volunteers to join our 2027 Festival to help with event set-up and craft activities. Please note, as this event is free and open to the public, parking and seating is first come first serve and there is a $5/Vehicle, State Park Fee. Consider carpooling. If you're camping in the State or National Park, consider walking or biking to the event.Important Note: Once parking lots are full, we can no longer accommodate additional vehicles for parking. Overflow parking is available inland before the bridge at both the Marina or National Park Visitor Center Parking Lots. This option requires walking over the bridge to the festival by foot. As this is an evening performance, beach umbrellas are not permitted in the audience.
In the event of inclement weather, the performance will move to the rain date the following day.
