MARYLAND COASTAL BAYS PROGRAM

MCBP offers several different volunteer opportunities including stranded spawning horseshoe crab recovery, oyster gardening, nurdle patrol, adopt a beach/adopt a street clean up program, and helping at Bay Day in Ocean Pines.

CBT is a non-profit organization whose mission is to engage and empower diverse groups to take actions that enrich natural resources and local communities of the Chesapeake Bay region, which includes the watersheds of the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland Coastal Bays, and Youghiogheny River. National Aquarium

SEAL STEWARD | NATIONAL AQUARIUM

The NATIONAL AQUARIUM in Baltimore offers an on-call Seal Steward volunteer position for Eastern Shore locals to support animal rescue efforts along the Atlantic Coast of Maryland. Responsibilities may include monitoring resting seals, ensuring safe distances for seals, educating the public, and outreach events.
