FRIENDS OF ASSATEAGUE STATE PARK
FOASP is a volunteer organization that works to promote the park's efforts to ensure safe and positive interactions between visitors and the island's wild horses and other wildlife. MARYLAND COASTAL BAYS PROGRAM
MCBP offers several different volunteer opportunities including stranded spawning horseshoe crab recovery, oyster gardening, nurdle patrol, adopt a beach/adopt a street clean up program, and helping at Bay Day in Ocean Pines.
ASSATEAGUE ISLAND ALLIANCE
Assateague Island Alliance is the official nonprofit Friends Group organization supporting Assateague Island National Seashore (ASIS). AIA promotes the awareness, education, and stewardship of Assateague Island National Seashore's natural resources for the enjoyment of current and future generations.
The Friends of Maryland State Parks is a statewide non-profit, all volunteer, citizen’s 501©(3) organization formed to preserve, protect, enhance and advocate for our state parks — one of Maryland’s most precious treasures. CBT is a non-profit organization whose mission is to engage and empower diverse groups to take actions that enrich natural resources and local communities of the Chesapeake Bay region, which includes the watersheds of the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland Coastal Bays, and Youghiogheny River. SURFRIDER is a national organization that is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network. The Ocean City Chapter is made up of beach-loving volunteers that ensure our ocean and beaches are clean and accessible for all.
